1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of AlliedRoster, including the website, school directory, graduate profiles, and employer tools (collectively, the "Service"), operated by AlliedRoster, Inc. ("AlliedRoster," "we," "us"). By creating an account, claiming a profile, submitting a school application, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. The AlliedRoster service
AlliedRoster connects three types of users:
Schools — accredited healthcare education programs that, once verified by AlliedRoster, may submit a graduating roster to create claimable profiles for their graduates.
Graduates — individuals named on a school's roster who claim a pre-built profile via a private link and may add self-reported information and apply to employers.
Employers — organizations that view graduate profiles and receive applications, including the graduate's verified status and self-reported information.
AlliedRoster is a platform that facilitates these connections. We are not a party to, and do not guarantee the outcome of, any employment relationship formed through the Service.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create a graduate account.
Schools must complete and pass AlliedRoster's institution verification process before submitting a roster. Submitting a false or misleading application is grounds for permanent removal from the Service.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
Profile claim links are personal to the named graduate. You may not claim a profile that isn't yours, or share your claim link with anyone else.
4. Verification scope & disclaimer
It's important that everyone using the Service understands exactly what AlliedRoster does and does not confirm.
A "Verified" badge means exactly one thing: AlliedRoster has confirmed that the named individual is a graduate of the named school and program, based on a roster submitted by an institution that has passed AlliedRoster's own verification process.
AlliedRoster does not independently verify, and makes no representation regarding:
Licensure or board/certification exam status
Clinical hours, GPA, class rank, or academic performance
Criminal background, employment history, or references
The current competence, conduct, or fitness of any graduate to perform healthcare work
The continued accreditation status of a school after the date it was last confirmed
Any such information appearing on a profile is self-reported by the graduate and is clearly the graduate's own representation, not AlliedRoster's or the school's. Employers are solely responsible for conducting whatever additional verification, background checks, and licensure confirmation they deem necessary before making any hiring decision — particularly given the clinical and patient-safety nature of healthcare roles. AlliedRoster is not a background check company, credentialing body, or substitute for an employer's own hiring diligence.
5. School obligations
Provide accurate information during the verification application, including accreditation/approval details and supporting documentation.
Only submit roster entries for individuals who have, in fact, completed the stated program.
Promptly notify AlliedRoster of any change to the school's accreditation or approval status.
Respond to employer inquiries submitted through the portal contact form in good faith; response time is at the school's discretion and is not guaranteed by AlliedRoster.
Comply with FERPA and any other applicable law governing disclosure of student education records.
6. Graduate obligations
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any self-reported information you add to your profile, including licensure/board exam status, clinical hours, and application materials.
You may not misrepresent your identity or claim a profile belonging to someone else.
You control what self-reported information is shared with an employer when you submit an application; review your profile before applying.
Providing false information to an employer through the Service may result in suspension of your account, independent of any liability you may have to that employer.
7. Employer obligations
Use the Service only for legitimate hiring purposes, and comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, and labor laws.
Do not treat a "Verified" badge as confirmation of anything beyond graduation from the named school and program, as described in Section 4.
Independently verify licensure, certification, and any other credential required for a role before extending an offer or allowing an individual to begin work, especially where state law requires active licensure to perform the job.
Do not scrape, bulk-download, or use graduate data for any purpose other than evaluating that individual for a specific hiring decision.
Do not attempt to contact a school outside the portal contact form using information obtained through the Service.
8. Prohibited conduct
In addition to obligations specific to your user type above, you may not:
Create fraudulent accounts, profiles, or school applications
Impersonate another person or entity
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through scraping, bots, or unauthorized automated access
Use the Service to harass, discriminate against, or retaliate against another user
Circumvent the portal contact form to solicit school or graduate contact information for purposes outside the Service
9. Intellectual property
The AlliedRoster name, logo, and platform design are the property of AlliedRoster, Inc. Graduates and schools retain ownership of the content they submit (such as resumes or roster data), and grant AlliedRoster a limited license to display and process that content solely to operate the Service.
10. Third parties & school responses
Schools and employers are independent organizations, not AlliedRoster employees or agents. AlliedRoster is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or timeliness of a school's response to a portal contact form inquiry, nor for any hiring decision, offer, or outcome between a graduate and an employer.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALLIEDROSTER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT USING THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT, THAT ANY GRADUATE IS QUALIFIED OR COMPETENT FOR A GIVEN ROLE, OR THAT SELF-REPORTED INFORMATION ON ANY PROFILE IS ACCURATE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLIEDROSTER AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR HIRING OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY HIRING DECISION MADE IN RELIANCE ON A VERIFIED BADGE OR SELF-REPORTED PROFILE INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ALLIEDROSTER IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Liability caps and exclusions are enforceable only within certain limits, which vary by state — this section needs jurisdiction-specific legal review.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AlliedRoster from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or, for employers, any hiring decision made without conducting your own independent verification as described in Section 4.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, submission of fraudulent information, or misuse of graduate or school data. You may close your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled after account closure.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or platform notice before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
